The cabin is located almost directly in the middle of the property facing east overlooking the valley below with loads of privacy and a gated driveway that leads 1,700 feet up a hillside to the camp.  The flora and fauna on this property is very broad and diverse.  There are several well-established, wide logging roads throughout the property for easy walking and a great place to ride horseback or ATVs.  The acreage makeup consists of approximately 28 acres of hayfields, 25 acres of brushy fields, and the remaining 195 acres is wooded.  There are several scattered stands of pine and some hemlock softwoods with various other species of hardwoods which include Oak, Maple, Ash and Birch.  The lower half of the property offers a field loaded with apple trees and there is an area about 400 feet from the road that would make a great home site on the edge of a field overlooking the valley.  When I walked the property I saw a variety of birds including a barn owl, red tailed hawk, wood thrush, scarlet tanager and spotted a couple nice tom turkeys.  There is good deer habitat throughout the property with oak stands, apple trees and water source from the creek.  The owners have harvested some nice bucks off the property over the years.

The cabin is tucked away just within the wood line above the upper hayfield.  It is 24 x 28 with one bedroom that has a bunk bed and a single bed.  There is also a sleeping loft above with plenty of room for additional beds.  This is a well-outfitted camp with a gravity-fed outdoor shower, wood stove, gas cook stove, 2000 watt generator, completely wired, gas lighting throughout, and will come partially furnished.  The inside is partially carpeted and there are large picture windows looking east down the valley with very nice views of the countryside.  There is a nice antique gas cook stove oven that runs on propane and is fully functional.  The outbuildings include a wood shed and outhouse.  There is some marketable timber on the property and all the oil, gas and mineral rights convey.

Attractively priced at $327,500.  Contact Brian Jackson 607-280-1058 (text friendly) for more information.
